À La Modetchi (あ・ら・もーどっち A ra mōdotchi) is a parent-stage character that debuted on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5 Celebrity.
Name Origin[]
"À la mode" is a French term which is often used with desserts to mean "served with ice cream". À La Modetchi's design is based off of "pudding à la mode", which is a pudding dish that may include whipped cream, ice cream, fruits, and syrups.
Appearance[]
The male À La Modetchi has a brown beak, pink cheeks, and a furrowed brow. He has brown syrup on his head which runs down the sides of his face and resembles sideburns. On his head, he has a green scoop of ice cream, a banana slice, an orange slice, and two small dollups of whipped cream. He has stubby legs and arms, and it looks like he has a plate with whipped cream around his waist.
The female À La Modetchi has a pink beak, pink cheeks, and eyelashes. She has brown syrup on her head and a pink scoop of ice cream with whipped cream, a wafer, a cherry, a melon slice, and two small dollups of whipped cream. She has stubby arms and legs. She also has many dollups of whipped cream around her waist, but instead of a plate, she has a frilly skirt.
Despite their differences in artwork, they have the same sprite.
Personality[]
Their bodies are heavy because of the thick pudding and lavish treats on top of their heads. Due to this, they have trouble breathing and have to move carefully.

À La Modetchi is the parent of the Pudding Family. They can be acquired either by marrying Puddingtchi or by turning a normal family into the Pudding Family from the second generation onward. Parent characters that evolve into Puddingtchi from neglect cannot have their evolution reversed.
Tamagotchi Meets[]
A male À La Modetchi can be seen in the unlock animation for Dolce Town on the Sweets version of the Tamagotchi Meets. They bring a cart of cake to the Tamagotchi's house and lead them to Dolce Town. He can also be encountered there as a NPC.
