Dream Town login screen.

Dream Town is an interactive web game for the Tamagotchi Friends website. It places the player in the interactable town of Dream Town featuring Tamagotchi characters.

Gameplay

Players take control of one of the starting Tamagotchi characters upon starting a new game: Yumemitchi, Kiraritchi, or Kiramotchi. Gameplay consists of exploring Dream Town, collecting items, and talking to and befriending people around town. Shops can be visited in Dream Town, where the player can spend their Gotchi Points to purchase items.

There are various Tamagotchi characters around Dream Town. Some may have notification bubble icons on them, indicating an interesting conversation. Conversation may consist of chatter, requests, or questionnaires. Having such conversation with them will fill up their heart gauge. The heart gauge represent their friendship towards the player. Filling up their heart gauge will reward the player with items.

Locations

At first, only three locations are available. The other four locations are unlockable by completing quests.

There are seven accessible locations in the game:

  • Park - A peaceful park with lush greenery. There is a recycling machine where players can trade in items for Gotchi Points and a fountain where you can fill empy containers with water.
  • Waterfront - A water-dominant area with docks and platforms. The Music Cafe is located here. There is also a kiosk that can directly link to a Tamagotchi Friends device for extra goodies.
  • Dream School Cafeteria - A cafeteria area just outside of the prestigious Dream School. Food and drink items can be purchased here.
  • Industrial area - A place for inventing and building things. Gadgets and tools can be crafted at the Workshop.
  • Restaurant area - A district containing high-class recipes and cuisines. Various foods and ingredients can be purchased here.
  • Entertainment area - Contains Dream Town's main entertainment studio: YUMEX-TV. There is also another kiosk which can link to a Tamagotchi Friends device for bonuses.

Description: Mametchi's robot has destroyed Dream Town's Industrial Area and he decides to fix the damage.

Sequence: After getting something to eat, Mametchi asks Himespetchi for some strong wood, but she appears to be too excited to listen. He hangs out with her to calm her down. Himespetchi tells him that she some strong wood, but left them at the Waterfront Area. After getting the strong wood left behind by Himespetchi, Mametchi's next step is to find some strong nails.

Mametchi asks Pianitchi if she has strong nails leftover from the Music Cafe's renovation, but she says she doesn't have any. She advises him to check if Kiraritchi has some from when she renovated the TamaMori Shop. When Mametchi asks her, she says she doesn't have any either. She tells Mametchi to go ask Yumemitchi if she has any. Mametchi asks her, and Yumemitchi says that she can order some more for him. She tells him that he can pick it up at the Waterfront Area. Mametchi finds a gift box in front of the Music Cafe and finds the strong nails that Yumemitchi ordered for him. He thanks her, and she says that she was glad to help out a friend.

The next task for Mametchi is finding some tama-paint. He asks Kiramotchi if she has any. She says she'll go find it for him, and asks if he can bring her some apple juice. When Mametchi returns with apple juice, Kiramotchi has the tama-paint he asked for and gives it to him. Mametchi now has everything he needs to cover up the damages caused by his robot. Down in the Dumplings

Description: After Kiramotchi painted all over the Restaurant Area, most of it was cleaned up, but the Dream Hanten still has scribbles on it. Mametchi decides to fix it.

Sequence: Mametchi realizes that his painter robot must have missed the Dream Hanten when it was cleaning up the Restaurant Area. He decides to finish the job, and goes to Kiramotchi for painting advice. She is also sad that the Dream Hanten hasn't reopened. Mametchi takes a break to cheer her up. After she feels better, Kiramotchi says she wants to help repaint the Dream Hanten. She tells Mametchi that the first thing they need to get the paint off of the building is solvent. He goes to the Workshop to make some solvent water.

Mametchi starts thinking about what colors they'll need for the Dream Hanten. He gets red tama-paint at the Salon de Dream. The next color is yellow, but the store doesn't have yellow tama-paint. Mametchi thinks there might be some left over from the repairs in the Industrial Area. He goes there and successfully finds two tubes of yellow tama-paint. He still needs more, so he asks Kiramotchi about finding some. Kiramotchi says she doesn't know where to get yellow tama-paint, so Mametchi asks Himespetchi. She hasn't seen any either, but she says she made a robot in class which can separate colors. If Mametchi can find some green paint, then Himespetchi can separate it and get yellow paint. Mametchi goes to Salon de Dream to buy green tama-paint, and brings it to Himespetchi. Himespetchi puts the paint in the color separator, and out comes yellow tama-paint. Mametchi pays back Himespetchi for being so kind.

Then Mametchi starts looking for white tama-paint. He didn't see any at Salon de Dream, but he thinks that maybe Dream School has some. He sees Pianitchi at the Cafeteria and asks her about finding white tama-paint. Pianitchi says she hasn't seen any at the school, but the Music Café has some. She says the café is low on drinks so she'll trade apple juice for the paint. Mametchi brings her the juice, and she gives him the white tama-paint. After Himespetchi feels better, she tells Mametchi that he's such a good problem-solver. Then Mametchi realizes he can improve his robot-making skills by helping Himespetchi. Himespetchi is thrilled at the idea of the two of them working on a project together.

Mametchi starts making a plan for the robot. First, he needs blueprints, so he talks to Himespetchi about making some. She tells him to get some paper while she gets the blue tama-paint. She continues to look for more cooking inspiration. She asks Julietchi about it, but Julietchi feels too thirsty to talk. Yumemitchi gets her some golden apple juice from the Cafeteria. After Julietchi's thirst is quenched, she tells Yumemitchi that the School Cafeteria has secret food that's not on the menu. She tells her order a loaf of chocolate bread. Yumemitchi goes to the Cafeteria and tests it out, and sure enough, she gets a loaf of chocolate bread.

Yumemitchi has recipes, a rare ingredient, and a special food. She wonders what else she could get. Then it occurs to her- a special kitchen utensil. She asks Mametchi about special utensils. Sequence: Yumemitchi notices that when tamagotchis get tired of their old accessories, they put them away, and the accessories don't get any use. She brings this up to Kiraritchi. They both agree that it's a waste of perfectly good accessories. Yumemitchi cheers up Kiraritchi, and Kiraritchi suggests that there could be a place where people could put their old accessories. Yumemitchi wonders what would become of the accessories after that, so she talks to Julietchi about it. Julietchi tells her that in the performance class, sometimes old costumes are taken apart so the materials can be used to make new costumes. Yumemitchi also talks to Mametchi. Mametchi says that he could probably make a robot that turns accessories into materials. He asks Yumemitchi to get lots of bottles. Yumemitchi brings him six bottles, and Mametchi starts working on the plastic panels. He also asks her to build a silent motor, and tells her how to make it. Yumemitchi goes to the Workshop and successfully creates a silent motor. She brings it to Mametchi.

Finally, he finishes the robot. Now they need to test it out with an accessory. Yumemitchi fetches a ribbon and gives it to Mametchi. Unfortunately, the robot jams up when it receives the ribbon. Mametchi is dismayed at the robot's failure, but Yumemitchi gives him encouragement. After he feels better, Mametchi starts working on a solution for the robot. Meanwhile, Yumemitchi tries to think of a place to put the robot. She notices that a lot of tamagotchis leave things in the Entertainment Area.
