Shinshitchi (しんしっち Shinshitchi) is a male adult Tamagotchi character that debuted on the Tamagotchi iD L.

Name Origin[]

Shinshi (紳士) means "gentleman".

Appearance[]

Shinshitchi has a round white body with blonde hair and a yellow beak. One strand of hair is long and curled. He wears a black suit with a red bow tie and has a black top hat.

Personality[]

He's a very well-rounded Tamagotchi, both literally and figuratively. He has a wide range of knowledge on many different subjects. Even though he's a young adult, he always acts like a polite older gentleman.

Shinshitchi is good friends with Moriritchi and his Tama Pet is Harapparatchi. He first appeared in "Let's Go-guru! Found a Violin" where he walks up to Boketchi and Bosatchi holding on to Melodytchi's violin and comments on how special it is. In "Harappara! Telelin's Big Adventure", he accidentally buys Telelin at a flea market thinking she was on sale. He leaves her at his house where she gets chased around by Harapparatchi who is happy to have someone to play with. After coming back from a grocery trip, Shinshitchi listens to Telelin and returns her back to the flea market, thanking her for looking after Harapparatchi.

Moriritchi visits his house in "Right on Mark!? Telelin Mimics Fortune-Telling" to decorate his house in Tamamori. In "Premonition Commotion!? Himespe Phone Fortune-Telling", he tells Chamametchi and Imotchi where to find pink clovers, unwittingly getting them lost in the mountains. In "Surprise! A Look-alike? Kuchipatchi and Ishipatchi" Shinshitchi is shown to work at the Tamatama Museum as an exhibit advisor. He helps Kuchipatchi and friends locate Ishipatchi's long lost brother.

  • Shinshitchi appeared in the Tamagotchi! anime series much earlier than other characters that debuted on the Tamagotchi iD L did, appearing 13 episodes before the rest.
