Yukipatchi (ゆきぱっち Yukipatchi) is a female Tamagotchi character from Patchi Forest's folktale legend. She debuted in season 5 of the Tamagotchi! anime, and is Kuchipatchi's girlfriend.
Name Origin[]
Yukipatchi's name comes from the Japanese word for snow, yuki (ゆき 雪), combined with Kuchipatchi's name.
Appearance[]
Yukipatchi is very similar to Kuchipatchi, but has white, pink-tinted skin, blue eyes with a single curved eyelash, and pink cheeks. Her body is made of ice, and is as cold as snow.
She usually wears a flower on her head. In episode 90, she has a pink hibiscus with a yellow star on its stamen, which was given to her by Kuchipatchi when he first built her. In episode 109, she is given a different kind of flower with red petals and green anthers. In GO-GO Tamagotchi!, she wears a similar flower, except its petals are pink instead of red.
Personality[]
Yukipatchi's personality is very similar to Kuchipatchi's; for example, they both love food. She enjoys snowball fights and playing together with him, but she feels sad when she hears other Tamagotchis complain about snow. She loves Christmas.
Yukipatchi is very much connected to the snow around her, and is a part of it. She comes and goes when the snow does. When it's time for her to leave, she fades away with the snow back to North North Point, until the snow falls somewhere else on Tamagotchi Planet again.
In the Anime[]
Tamagotchi![]
Yukipatchi and Kuchipatchi meet in "A Gift of Midsummer Snow", when Kuchipatchi was building a snowman while wishing it could come to life. Moments later, it transformed into Yukipatchi. They gain a strong bond throughout the episode, and Kuchipatchi builds an igloo for her to sleep in at night. At the end, as Yukipatchi explains to Kuchipatchi that she has to leave due to the snow's departure, they express their true feelings that they do indeed like each other and they will meet again someday. When she fades, the flower she had is left behind.
In "Miracle White Christmas!", Yukipatchi returned when the snow came during Christmas, surprising Kuchipatchi and everyone else at TamaCafe. She uses a magical green essence contained inside a bell to bring more snow to Tamagotchi Town, but uses too much essence, causing the town to become completely encased in snow. The Tama-friends then help Santaclautchi and Rednosetchi to find Tamagotchi's houses buried in the snow and deliver presents.
GO-GO Tamagotchi![]
In "Princesses' Confrontation in the World of Snow", Yukipatchi makes a return where she reunites with her friends, including Kuchpatchi, who was happy to see her again and the two embraced. Memetchi explains to the other characters that Yukipatchi is Kuchipatchi's girlfriend. Yukipatchi also helped them solve the rivalry between Gotchi King and Tanetameha the Great regarding their daughters.

- Yukipatchi's design is based on the yuki-warashi, a small cute red-rosy cheeked child made of snow from Japanese mythology. Similar to the episode she debuts, legend tells of a snow-child that came to life upon a wish and later departs once spring arrived.
