Tama & Earth EXPO

The Tama & Earth EXPO is a collection of islands located on Tamagotchi Planet. It was constructed as a means to help the Tamagotchis learn more about the Earth and the different human cultures. The location was featured on TamaTown during the release of the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5 and Tamagotchi Connection Version 5 Celebrity.

Features[]

Like the TamaTown website, the Tama & Earth Expo allowed players to connect their Tamagotchi Connection Version 5 and Celebrity to the site to earn prizes and gotchi points for their Tamagotchi. Players could visit the pavillions to play games and collect items. Upon starting a game or entering a shop, the player needed to select the connection icon on their Tamagotchi device and select the PC option. A ten digit password would then appear on screen, acting as a log in code for the website. After playing the game or buying an item, the website would give a password to be entered into Tamagotchi device. The Tamagotchi would receive the bought item or gotchi points earned.

Pavillions[]

The EXPO is divided into five islands, known as Pavilions. There is one general Pavilion in the center for recreation, and the other four represent a different region of the world where Tamagotchi toys are released. This includes the USA, Japan, Asia/Oceania, and European regions. Each country pavilion has a city hall where players could take surveys and see results compared to other countries and a Gotchi Employment Center which has four games.

Central Pavillion[]

The Central Pavilion is largest island and sits in the center of the area. It contains the Gotchi Amusement Park to the left, various shops in the center pathway, and to the right were the International Shop, Harmony Theater, and Ecology Pavilion. Various Tamagotchi characters have an exclamation mark next to them and clicking them has them say a greeting in a different language.

Tama News Board[]

The Tama News Board announces new additions and general updates to the Tama & Earth Expo website. The board is accompanied by Reportchi.

Gotchi Amusement Park[]

The Gotchi Amusement Park contains six games related to attractions and is run by Memepapatchi and Mememamatchi.

Stepping Stones: Gozarutchi and four of his friends need help crossing a river with stepping stones. The player must memorize the pattern in which the stones are highlighted and then click the stones in the right pattern.
Polish and Sparkle: A group of Tamagotchi are cleaning the tea cup rides which are covered in dirt. The player must clean all the tea cups in the time limit by rubbing the cursor over the cups.
Make a Ferris Wheel: The Ferris Wheel is missing their gondolas and the player needs to reattach the gondolas by rolling them down a bowling lane. An arrow will be moving left and right and the roll button must be clicked when the arrow points straight up.
Make a Ghoul: Uhyotchi is working at the haunted house as a scarer and needs to be dressed in the right costume. The player will be given a selection of cards and must pick the right ones to match the image of Uhyotchi they're given.
Haunted House: Young Dorotchi needs help making it through a haunted house without being completely frightened. As she goes through the rooms, the player will be given a choice to go left or right. If the correct option is chosen, Young Dorotchi will pass by unbothered; otherwise, a cutscene will play of her being frightened. Young Dorotchi has four lives and the game will end if she runs out of them.
Perfect Roller Coaster Image: A cutscene of randomized Tamagotchi riding a rollercoaster will play. The player can move a rectangle around the screen to take pictures and once the ride is over, the player can choose a picture, decorate it, and save it to their PC.

Main Street[]

The Main Street lies in the center of the pavilion. The street has games on both sides, themed after stores.

Photography Shop: Ciaotchi will be taking family pictures. She will ask the player to look for a specific family and they must click and drag the right family members to the top stage. Once all members are collected, the shoot button must be clicked for the photo to be taken.
Travel Agency: As Tamagotchi approach the luggage carousel, they'll ask for their bag. The player must click and drag the right bag from the carousel to the Tamagotchi.
Clothes Shop: Uniqlotchi needs help grabbing the right clothes to dress up mannequins. Mametchi and Kuchipatchi will throw her up in order to grab clothes hanging on top of the screen. The player must look at the example picture and click the jump button to throw Uniqlotchi to get the right clothing. Only 15 jumps can be made.
Convenience Store: Nanacotchi will request several items to be put in her shopping basket. The player must find the items in the convenience store and drag them to her basket.
Vending Machine: A Tamagotchi will be on the right, asking for a specific drink. The player needs to rearrange the pipes on screen in a way that lets the drink flow to the bottom so the Tamagotchi can get the drink.
Information Booth: Majorite asks the player to help them find a Tamagotchi using her computer. The player must find the presented Tamagotchi in a crowd of Tamagotchi in the time limit.
Bookstore: The player must help Jidoutchi run the bookstore. As Tamagotchi walk to the counter, they'll ask for a specific book and the player needs to click and drag the right book to them before they run away.
Tama Doughnut Shop: The player will be in charge of creating doughnuts for the hungry Tamagotchi behind the counter. An example picture will be shown and the player must click the right button to decorate the Doughnut as it passes by them.

International Shop[]

The International Shop sells souvenirs from the four other pavilions based on regions of the world. Papakizatchi and Mamavioletchi run the shop.

Harmony Theater[]

The Harmony Theater is where players could watch videos. The videos available to watch were the Let's Go! Tamagotchi shorts and Tamagotchi commercials from different countries. Clicking the choices on the screen would redirect to another site where the videos were hosted.

Ecology Pavilion[]

The Ecology Pavillion is centered around learning about how to keep Earth healthy and free of pollution. It contains a link to a website with methods on living a green lifestyle and one game. The Pavillon is run by PapaPatchi, Mamapatchi, and Kuchipatchi.

Rescue the Earth: The player controls Kuchipatchi as he pilots a spaceship trying to vacuum pollution clouds covering the Earth. The player has a limited amount of time to clear the clouds away by repeatedly clicking on them.

Japan Pavilion[]

The Japan Pavilion is based off Japan and is themed after Japanese cultures and landmarks.

Go Fish!: The player controls KuroMametchi as they go fishing. When the word "Fish!" appears on screen, the reel button must be rapidly clicked to reel the line in. The player has five tries to catch a fish.
Pounding Mochi: A pair of Osumotchi will be pounding mochi. The player must click the red button at the right time to pound the mochi and avoid hitting Osumotchi's hand.
Gozarutchi Ninja Sushi: The player helps Gozarutchi as they run a sushi restaurant. As customers come in and request sushi, the right ingredients must be dragged to their plate to finish the order.
Tama Relaxation Lounge: As travelers come to Mount Fuji, the player must fulfill their requests and put them in the right relaxation area. Once the travelers are done and leave the player must also clean up the mess made behind.

North America Pavilion[]

The North America Pavilion is based off North America, but mostly takes theming from the United States.

The Sweets Factory: The player controls Chamametchi as she tries to catch candy and chocolate falling from pipes at the top of the screen. Chamametchi is moved by clicking on the left and right arrows.
The Pinball Factory: The player must solve a slide puzzle in the given time limit.
Space Tour: After a cutscene plays of the Large Family jumping on a seesaw to launch a spaceship into space, the player helps Mametchi fly through space by aiming at meteorites and shooting them.
Hot Dog Eating Contest: The player must help Mametchi win a hot dog eating contest. Clicking on Mametchi will make him eat the hot dog in front of him. When the hot dog is gone, the hot dog plate in the center can be clicked to give another hot dog to Mametchi. The meter on the bottom right shows Mametchi's progress on eating the hot dog and how much stamina he has left. When Mametchi's stamina runs out, clicking the water cup next to him will replenish his strength.

Europe Pavilion[]

The Europe Pavilion is based off Europe and is themed after various European countries.

Coloring Hats: The player must help Wooltchi color hats. An example picture will be shown for a few seconds and the player needs to color the hat to match the picture.
Do It In Pairs: The player must dress up a mannequin by correctly matching cards. The player has five chances to match cards before it is game over.
Tama Palace Guard: The player controls two Royal Servants as they try to stop Tamagotchi from climbing over the fence into the Tama Palace. The servants are moved left and right by clicking the arrow keys in the middle. If the player stops enough intruders, a cutscene will play of the Royal Family doing a parade as a crowd watches. If too many intruders were let in, a cutscene of the Royal Servants panicking from the Royal Family not showing up and the crowd getting angry will play instead.
Tulip Maze: A cutscene will play of a Tamagotchi getting lost in a maze and crying. The scene will then zoom out to show where other lost Tamagotchi are. The player controls Ms. Frill as she goes through the maze to find the missing Tamagotchi. A map in the top left shows where the Tamagotchi are and what direction Ms. Frill goes in can be picked by clicking an arrow.

Asia/Oceania Pavilion[]

The Asia/Oceania Pavilion is based off countries in Asia and Oceania.

String a Necklace: The player must follow Shelltchi's directions in stringing pearls on a necklace. Shelltchi will show a colored pearl and the player must pick the right one from the tray at the bottom of the screen.
Make Juice!: Ichigotchi is making juice and will show a recipe for the player to remember and follow. Vegetables and fruit will scroll by on the conveyor belt and the lever must be clicked at the right time to move the correct vegetable or fruits into the juice maker.
TAMA Chinese Restaurant: The player controls Mametchi with the arrow keys as he balances on a wooden circle and delivers Chinese food in a restaurant. The player must keep Mametchi balanced by keeping the indicator in the middle of the meter on the bottom of the screen. Obstacles must also be jumped over.
Stage Producer: The player is in charge of running a play and keeping it running smoothly. As a scene plays out, the player will have the option to close the curtains, turn the lights off, add a prop, or change the scenery. The right action must be chosen for the scene to play out correctly. Each play will have five scenes to go through.

Celebrity Cruise Ship[]

When the Royal Dream Family Tamagotchi Plus was released on Japan and the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5 Celebrity was released in the USA and Asia/Oceania regions, a cruise ship appeared docked in front of the main Pavilion. On board is the Gotchi King and his family, as well as several celebrity characters. The Cruise Ship included several additional games.

Go Kart Race: The player controls Eiyuutchi as they race other Tamagotchi in go karts. The up and down arrow keys are used to move the kart away from obstacles while the left and right keys make the kart jump over obstacles. Eiyuutchi must also collect flags in order to go faster and get a high score.
Go Go Cruising: The player controls Teitokutchi as they drive a boat through a course. The left and right arrows keys are used to move the boat left and right to avoid incoming obstacles. Occasionally an arrow will flash on screen to indicate the direction of the course changing.
Fun In The Sun: As various Tamagotchi relax near the pool, they will request an item to be brought to them. The player must click and drag the right item to them before time runs out.
Spa Time: The player will need to use the styling tools to the left to make the Tamagotchi customer match the example picture to the top right. If a mistake was made, the soap and water bottle near the bottom can be used to reset the Tamagotchi's looks.
Concert Master: Prince Tamahiko. Jyooubatchi, and Princess Tamako will be performing a concert. Colored music notes will float from their instruments and the player must press the corresponding arrow key to make the notes disappear.
