Mamehakasetchi (まめはかせっち), also known as Professor Mametchi, is a male Tamagotchi from Mame City. He appears on the Tamagotchi iD L 15th Anniversary Version as a non-raisable character.
Name Origin[]
Mamehakasetchi is a combination of two words: "mame" and "hakase." Mame comes from Mametchi's name; by itself it means "loyalty." The second suffix "hakase" (博士) is a Japanese word for "professor."
Appearance[]
Mamehakasetchi has the same colors as Mametchi, consisting of a light yellow body and blue ears on his head. Mamehakasetchi has white fuzzy white eyebrows with dot-like black eyes and chubby cheeks. He wears a white coat and a yellow tie that distinguishes him as a scientist. He is also much smaller than Mametchi, and true to his name, his body shape resembles like a bean. His arms and legs are thin and stick-like, similar to Memetchi.

Mamehakasetchi's first animated appearance was in Tamagotchi: The Movie. He is seen at the Mamemame Laboratory with Papamametchi, Professor Flask, and Mr. Turtlepedia. He is one of the scientists investigating the Tamagotchi Planet's sickness.

Mamehaksetchi appears at Mamemame Laboratory as part of the group figuring out how to stop the magical tornado from attacking Celebria.
Tamagotchi![]
Mamehakasetchi is a recurring character in Tamagotchi!. He is generally jolly and passionate when working. He works at Mamemame Laboratory, along side with Papamametchi, and often rides on his head. He is also great friends with Principal Mimizu. In "Tiny Scouts! Mamemame Club", it's revealed that he is in a club with Principal Mimizu called Mamemame Club. The club is for tiny Tamagotchis and they only accept members who can fit through a small hoop. They almost recruit Doremitchi, Sopratchi, and Telelin until they become disinterested when Mimizu and Mamehakasetchi start talking about their club merchandise.
When the Eggification curse appears in "Fashion! The Best? Eggs of Style", Mamehakasentchi and the rest of the scientist at Mamemame Laboratory work hard to find a cure. When news reporters come to the lab to get a statement on the curse, he assures everyone that the curse is currently not dangerous and that they'll update them on any results they find. Mamehakasentchi is seen falling victim to the eggification curse in "Tamagotchi Planet's Pinch! Can Kizunatchi Save It!?", leaving Papamametchi as the only scientist left at the lab to research the curse. He is returned to normal in "The Power of the Bond".
GO-GO Tamagotchi![]
In Tamagottsun ♥ Big Meeting!?, Mamehakasetchi is the first to discover and reveal the Tamagottsun, the phenomenon which causes Tamatown and Dream Town to combine.
