Midotetchi (みどてっち Midotetchi) is a male character that appeared in episode 123 of the Tamagotchi! anime, in addition to making a cameo appearance in the final episode of GO-GO Tamagotchi!.

Name Origin[]

Mido (みど) means "green" or "greenery".

Appearance[]

Midotetchi is yellow with a leafy green bush on his head, adorned in a yellow flower and spots of various colors. He appears to be wearing a leafy green sleeveless shirt as well, and he has an orange scarf with a pompom at the end. He is notably smaller than most other Tamagotchi characters.

Personality[]

Midotetchi carries his village's distrust of Kaze Kaze Villagers, acting hostile to the Tama-friends (when he thought they were from Kaze Kaze Village) and Harukazetchi. While Harukazetchi was open to working with him to restore the Tama-Mizuki tree, Midotetchi remained stubborn and walked away from her. He eventually comes back and helps the Tama-friends and Harukazetchi clear away the weeds and vines on the tree and later on tries to reconcile the distrust between the two villages.

Like other villagers of Hana Hana Village, Midotetchi is knowledgeable in growing flowers and maintaining plants.

In the Anime[]

Tamagotchi![]

Midotetchi appears in "The Last Tama-Mizuki" where he informs the Tama-friends that the forest of Tama-Mizuki trees died due to Kaze Kaze Village, conflicting with the information they learned from Harukazetchi. When Harukazetchi and the Tama-friends ask him to help reunite Hana Hana Village and Kaze Kaze Village to keep the tree alive, he rejects their request and walks away. However, he later realizes they were right in the tree being kept alive by the two villages' bond and comes back to help them. After restoring the Tama-Mizuki tree together, Midotetchi and Harukazetchi tried convincing their villages to work together and become friends. This caused two Tama Heart to appear.

GO-GO Tamagotchi![]

Midotetchi appears with Harukazetchi in "Laughing, Laughing, Another Gottsun!" during the special performance of Happy Happy Harmony.
