Mamapatchi (ままぱっち Mamapatchi) is a female parent Tamagotchi character who first appeared on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5 and has appeared in the Tamagotchi! anime series. She is Kuchipatchi's and the Chibipatchi's mother.
Name Origin[]
Mamapatchi's name comes from "mama" as she is a mother and "patchi" as she is a member of the Kuchipa Family.
Appearance[]
Mamapatchi is very similar-looking to Kuchipatchi. Her body has the same pear shape and stubby arms and legs. She has beady eyes and a beak. Her skin is yellow rather than green, and she has light orange cheeks. She also has hair, which is done in a bun, with three bangs hanging over her forehead.
Personality[]
Mamapatchi is very relaxed and stays at home cooking most of the time. She is very forgetful; she always confuses Papapatchi and Kuchipatchi. The reason why Chibipatchis don't have separate names is because Mamapatchi forgot to name them when they were born. She is very formidable when she is angry, and the only thing that can calm her is a peaceful hot spring.

In Tamagotchi: The Movie, Mamapatchi appears in the opening montage of Kuchipatchi leaving home to go to Tamagotchi School. She later appears during the film's climax in Mamemame Laboratory, watching Kuchipatchi and his friends on their mission in outer space.
Tamagotchi: Happiest Story in the Universe![]
In the second movie Tamagotchi: Happiest Story in the Universe!, Kuchipatchi's family joins Memetchi and Mametchi's families in visiting Celebria. Mamapatchi can been seen enjoying a hot spring and eating at McDonald's. Later on, when Celebria is threatened by a magical paper tornado, Mamapatchi is with the other parents outside the tornado, waiting for Kuchipatchi and friends to return from their mission to save Celebria. When they finally return, Mamapatchi and Papapatchi hug Kuchipatchi.
Tamagotchi![]
Mamapatchi appears as a minor character in the Tamagotchi! series in some scenes involving Kuchipatchi's family. In "Gypsytchi's Fortune Telling" she makes pizza for dinner and pours curry on top of it as a special treat since Kuchipatchi loves both of those foods. In "Ta! Chi! Chibipatchi, Kuchipatchi, Papapatchi" she leaves Kuchipatchi and Papapatchi to babysit the Chibipatchis and comes back at the end of the episode to chastise them for getting in trouble.
Mamapatchi is revealed to be part of the Mama Friends Club in "Cake and Chitchat! Mama Friend Club". The club consists of the main cast's mothers and they meet sometimes at TamaCafe to gossip and tell stories while eating cake. Mamapatchi tells a story about how Kuchipatchi ate all their food on a family picnic and makes it up by foraging for food in the forest.

The Chibipatchis are Mamapatchi's twin sons. They are mischievous and occasionally cause some trouble for Papapatchi and Kuchipatchi when they are supposed to look after them.
