Papapatchi (ぱぱぱっち Papapatchi) is a male parent Tamagotchi who appears on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5 and Tamagotchi Connection Version 5 Celebrity. He is Kuchipatchi's father, and he lives in Patchi Forest.
He has appeared in the Tamagotchi! series and the Sorette Kuchipatchi webisodes.
Name Origin[]
Papapatchi's name contains "papa" since he is a father. His name ends in "patchi" because he is member of the Kuchipa Family.
Appearance[]
Papapatchi's is very similar-looking to Kuchipatchi. He has a pear-shaped body with stubby arms and legs. His skin is a slightly darker shade of green than Kuchipatchi's. He has beady eyes, yellow-green cheeks and a beak. Papapatchi has black hair on the top of his head, which is actually a wig.
Personality[]
Papapatchi is very laid-back, like his son Kuchipatchi. He is jolly and good-natured, but also a bit silly and clueless. Sometimes he can be embarrassing, especially for Kuchipatchi. In Tamagotchi Corner Shop 3, he tells the player's character that he wants to share a secret about Mamapatchi, but he ends up blurting out his own secret instead.
When he is seen without his wig, other Tamagotchis tend to confuse him for Kuchipatchi due to them looking similar.

Tamagotchi Connection Version 5/Famitama[]
Papapatchi is obtained when Kuchipatchi marries Mukugetchi or Nemutchi. After their marraige, Kuchipatchi will evolve into Papapatchi, and his partner will evolve into Mamapatchi.
Tamagotchi Connection Version 5/Celebrity[]
Papapatchi is obtained from the same method as the Version 5/Famitama.

Papapatchi appears in the family photo if Kuchipatchi is raised or married.

Papapatchi appears on a clock face exclusive to the Gourmet Friends TamaSma Card.
In the Anime[]
Tamagotchi: The Movie[]
Papapatchi appears as a minor character in the movie. He is seen in the beginning waving goodbye to Kuchipatchi when he leaves for school and near the end at Mamemame Laboratory showing concern for Kuchipatchi when he disappeared to go to space.
Tamagotchi: Happiest Story in the Universe![]
Papapatchi and the rest of the family are shown joining Mametchi's and Memetchi's families in their visit to Celebria. Later on in the movie, he can be seen with Mamapatchi saying goodbye to Kuchipatchi as he leaves to save Kikitchi from the paper tornado engulfing Celebria. When Kuchipatchi safely returns, he gives him a hug.
Tamagotchi![]
Papapatchi occasionally appears as a minor character whenever Kuchipatchi is seen at his home in Patchi Forest. He has a main role in "Ta! Chi! Chibipatchi, Kuchipatchi, Papapatchi" where he watches over the Chibipatchi twins with Kuchipatchi while Mamapatchi left to do errands. They eventually lose them in the forest and Papapatchi ends up getting lost looking for them. Papapatchi also acts as a referee in "Pumpkinmington! Let's Start-datchi" for a pumpkin themed badminton game.
In "A Mysterious Photo of Patchi Forest?", his wig gets blown off by the wind and it terrifies Telelin and her friends who think it's a ghost out to curse them.

Papapatchi appears as a customer for any of the shops. If the player has Kuchipatchi as their partner in Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop, Papapatchi will appear in disguise to upgrade the shop.
Tamagotchi Adventure Kingdom[]
Papapatchi appears as a NPC in Patchi Forest at Kuchipatchi's house. His first quest tasks Mametchi with finding one of the Chibipatchi twins that had run away. His second quest has Mametchi looking for his wig that had blown away.

Mamapatchi is Papapatchi's wife. She is relaxed and often cooks for the family at home. She tends to confuse Papaptchi with Kuchipatchi sometimes.

Kuchipatchi is Papapatchi's son. Like his father, he is also aloof and loves eating.
Chibipatchi[]

The Chibipatchis are Papatchi's twin sons. They are mischievous and occasionally cause some trouble for Papapatchi and Kuchipatchi when they are supposed to look after them when Mamapatchi is gone.
Onsenmoguratchi[]

Onsenmoguratchi is the Patchi Family's pet in Tamagotchi Connection Version 5.
