Santaclautchi (サンタクロっち Santakurotchi) is a male adult character that serves as the modern incarnation of the 1998 Santaclautchi. He debuted on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 1 as a holiday animation, and has appeared on all modern releases since.
Name Origin[]
Santaclautchi comes from the name "Santa Claus," the figure based on Santaclautchi. It is simply mashed together and added with the standard Tamagotchi name suffix, "tchi," but with the "s" removed from "Claus."
Appearance[]
Santaclautchi resembles Classic Santaclautchi, except the "mustache" portion of the beard has been removed, making his mouth more visible.
Personality[]
This jolly Tamagotchi travels across the planet every year to bring gifts to every Tamagotchi. No matter the circumstance, he makes sure every Tamagotchi has a Merry Christmas. Like the real Santa, he is dedicated to bringing Christmas joy by bringing the kind Tamagotchi folk presents every year on Christmas Eve.
When walking in Tamagotchi Town, he wears a black cloak so that Tamagotchis don't recognize him as Santaclautchi, but the cloak usually falls off. Even when this happens, most Tamagotchis don't think he's Santaclautchi because so many other Tamagotchis are dressed as Santa during Christmas time. He is often getting separated from Rednosetchi.

On December 24th at 10:30 PM, Santaclautchi appears and leaves a present for the Tamagotchi. The present is merely cosmetic, and disappears when the Tamagotchi wakes up.

Santaclautchi is an exclusive guest in the Tamagotchi On App during December. He can be married if matched with in Tama Party. When interacted with in the park, he will give either the Hot Cocoa or Candy Cane snack once a day.

Santaclautchi will visit the Tamagotchi's home during December to wish them Merry Christmas and deliver a letter directing them to a Christmas themed mission on Tamagotchi.com.
Tamagotchi Smart[]
Santaclautchi appears in the Square during December. The Tamagotchi can talk to him and occasionally, an animation will play where Santaclautchi, Rednosetchi, and the Tamagotchi ride a magical sled over the city to deliver presents.

Tamagotchi![]
In the Tamagotchi! anime series, Santaclautchi only made exclusive appearances in Christmas-themed episodes. He made his first anime appearance in the episode, "Rednosetchi is Lost!" where he gets separated from Rednosetchi and needs Mametchi and Chamametchi's help to reunite with him. He appears again in "Merry! Spacey! Christmas" where he gets mistaken as a TamaDepa worker by Depagatchi and is forced to hand out Santa hats to passing Tamagotchis with Akaspetchi and Pipospetchi.
In the next episode, "Happy Happy! Illumination", he needs Mametchi and friends' help to find Rednosetchi again. After Melodytchi and Lovelitchi find him by playing Happy Happy Harmony, the power goes out for Tamagotchi Town and Mametchi helps bring the power back so Santaclautchi and Rednosetchi can safely deliver presents. When Yukipatchi accidentally causes Tamagotchi Town to become buried in snow in "Miracle White Christmas!", the Tama-friends help Santaclautchi and Rednosetchi find houses and deliver presents to them. The two are then treated to a Christmas party as suggested by Kizunatchi.
Santaclautchi reappears in "A Bit of a Badboy? Midsummer Santaclautchi" to give Santagreentchi his Santa License after he left it back on Christmas Island. The Santa Tama Heart then appears between them from Santagreentchi's appreciation of Santaclautchi looking out for him.

Santagreentchi (サンタグリーンっち Santagurīntchi) is the Santaclautchi of summer. He works with Greennosetchi and delivers presents to the southern lands of Tamagotchi Planet. He is mischievious and loves to pull tricks on Tamagotchis, though he is still generally jolly in nature. He first appeared in the Tamagotchi! anime series in the episode "A Bit of a Badboy? Midsummer Santaclautchi".
