Motetchi (もてっち Motetchi) is a male Tamagotchi character who first appeared as a selectable character on the TamaGoLand web site. He debuted in the anime series in episode 12 of GO-GO Tamagotchi!. On virtual pets he debuted on the Tamagotchi 4U.
Name Origin[]
His name may come from the Japanese terms moteru (モテる) and motemote (モテモテ) meaning "to be popular" and "sexy".
Appearance[]
Motetchi is gray with two lopsided, pointy ears that have dark blue tips. He has a curled hair on his forehead and tufted cheeks. He wears a dark brown sleeveless jacket.

Motetchi is a NPC that appears in My Town. They can be encountered in the park and appear during weddings. On October 31st, he appears with Lovesoratchi and Konenetchi in costume to trick or treat at the Tamagotchi's house. If the Tamagotchi does not give candy, the three will dump junk on them and leave.
Tamagotchi Smart[]
Motetchi is a NPC that can be encountered at the Square. They can also appear as a customer in the Drink and Food Delivery game. In a dating cutscene where the Tamagotchi is watching a movie with their date, Motetchi appears in the movie with Pukkutchi.
Tamagotchi Uni[]
Motetchi appears to see the Tamagotchi off if they get married in the Tamaverse.

Motetchi makes an appearance in "Fierce Fight! World Tama Cup". He is a talented soccer player and is the leader of a team from TamaGoLand. He plays against Mametchi and KuroMametchi's team from DoriTama Town.
