Sphinquiztchi (すふぃんくいずっち Sufinkuizutchi) is a male character that appeared in season 7 of Tamagotchi!.
Name Origin[]
Sphinquiztchi name is a blend of sphinx (スフィンクス sufinkusu) and quiz (クイズ kuizu).
Appearance[]
Sphinquiztchi resembles an Egyptian Sphinx statue. They have a light brown stone body and they are always reclining down. They wear a headdress decorated with blue stripes and when someone answers his questions correctly, a red glowing circle will pop out of his head. Even though he is large in size, he can move very suddenly from room to room.

Sphinquiztchi appears in "Pinch! Gotchi King Is Boiling!?" where he is found in the hidden crystal caves under Gotchi King's Castle, and guards the door to the crystal crown.
One of the questions that Sufinkuizutchi asks is: "what has four legs, and then two legs, and then three legs?" Mametchi used his smarts to answer this question - People crawl when they are babies as if they have four legs, and then they have two legs when they learn to walk. Then, they have three legs when they are old because they have a walking stick. He was about to say Tamagotchi, but then he remembered that some Tamagotchis (like Gotchi King) don't have legs. Mametchi realized that the answer was a human, such as Tomomi.

- Sphinquiztchi is based on the Riddle of the Sphinx, a Sphinx in Greek mythology that blocked the path until travelers answered their riddle.
- Sphinquiztchi is one of two Tamagotchis based Sphinxes, the other being Sphinxtchi.
