Hinotamatchi (ひのたまっち Hinotamatchi) is a teenager character that debuted on the Tamagotchi Connection and has since appeared on many releases.
Appearance
Hinotamatchi resembles a red fireball with no arms or legs. He has a beak and orange cheeks. When he gets angry, the flame on his head burns intensely.
Even though he has the face of the Kuchipatchi family, he's considered part of the Meme Family in Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus.
Personality
Hinotamatchi is a rebellious Tamagotchi that apparently finds rock music more interesting than classical music. He loves rock 'n' roll. His favorite food is sundaes and his least favorite food is doughnuts. Hinotamatchi doesn't like water. He is called a hothead (hence the look) because he is very stubborn. He talks like a tough guy, but is really just a good guy with a passionate heart.

Hinotamatchi is one of two teen characters obtainable on odd generations, and comes from average care or worse. Hinotamatchi is gender-neutral, and can evolve into Mametchi, Kuchipatchi, Tarakotchi, Hanatchi or Masktchi.
Tamagotchi Connection Version 2
Hinotamatchi can be obtained from moderate care on even generations. Its favorite food is eggs and dislikes doughnuts. It sleeps from 9 PM to 10 AM.
Tamagotchi Connection Version 3
Hinotamatchi is obtained from moderate care on even generations and can be either gender. Its favorite food is omelet, and he dislikes donuts. It sleeps from 9 PM to 10 AM.
Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus
Hinotamatchi is a male Meme group teen, evolving from Memebotchi with average care or worse. Depending on his highest skill points, he may evolve into either Tosakatchi (intelligence), Togetchi (fashion), or ShimaShimatchi (kindness).
Tamagotchi Connection Version 4
Hinotamatchi is a male Meme group teen that can evolve from any of the four child characters, with higher fashion points and average care or worse. Depending on his highest skill points, he may evolve into either Tosakatchi (intelligence), Togetchi (fashion), or ShimaShimatchi (kindness). He may also become any of the three universal adults (Pyonchitchi with good care, Debatchi with average care, or Gozarutchi with poor care).
He sleeps from 8 PM to 9 AM. His favorite food is omelet, and he dislikes donuts.

Hinotamatchi is a male average care teen. Its adult evolution is determined by care and generation.
Depiction in Anime
On the anime series Let's Go! Tamagotchi, he plays in a rock band as the guitarist, along with Tosakatchi and Togetchi. Their song is:
- Fireball a-rockin', yeah yeah yeah! (etc.)
In Japanese their song is:
- Hinotama rock, yeah yeah yeah! (etc.)
In the newer Tamagotchi anime, Tosakatchi is not included in the band and Hinotamatchi sings with a microphone instead of playing guitar. Hinotamatchi is a very minor character. He is not allowed to go ice skating because he could melt the ice in the rink.
Name Origin
"Hino" is the Japanese word for fire and "tama" means ball, so his name translates as Fireballtchi, which signifies his appearance.
