Mame City (まめシティ Mame Shiti), is the hometown of Mametchi. This city is based on the 'intelligence' characteristic. It appears frequently in the anime.

Appearance

Mame City is very industrial. Many of the buildings are block-like, and there are a lot of schools. One of the signature features of Mame City is the Mame Tree, which resembles a large sprout with two wide green leaves. The residential areas contain housing subdivisions.

In the Anime

Mame City is shown somewhat frequently in the anime. It appeared in Tamagotchi: The Movie, and the Tamagotchi! anime series. Many episodes that focus on Mametchi feature Mame City.

Tamatown Depictions

Mame City was accessible on the Tamatown websites for the Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus and the Tamagotchi Connection Version 4/4.5.

For the V4/4.5 version, there were two visitable locations: the Hardware Shop, and the Intellectual Work Building. At the Hardware Shop, players could collect three souvenirs: the hammer, the ladder, and the drill. At the Intellectual Work Building, players could play the Laboratory Game, which involved catching falling Mame Blocks to build a tower.

In Other Tamagotchi Media

In Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop, Mame City contains the Dentist, Cleaners, Music Club, and Dental Salon shops. Mame City is one of the main locations in Tamagotchi no Appare! Niji-Venture. It also appears Tamagotchi: Party On!.
