In Mametchi's room, Chamametchi watches Mametchi finish making an invention resembling a fat pen with arms. When he finishes it, they decide to go show Memetchi and Kuchipatchi their new invention.
At the Tama Restraunt, Mametchi tells his friends how he thought up the idea for the invention at 1 Tower while practicing for the school Math and Science competition. He then starts the invention up, and it begins writing math problems in a blank notebook in the middle of the table. Mametchi and Chamametchi are excited, but Memetchi and Kuchipatchi are unimpressed. Memetchi gives little response, and Kuchipatchi would rather have a food-making machine. Mametchi is upset by this, and goes sadly to bed after dinner. Chamametchi is worried about her big brother, and while he sleeps, she works on his invention.
The next morning, Memetchi and Kuchipatchi wake Mametchi up from outside his window to tell him how amazing they think his invention is. Memetchi mentions that it can make perfect curls, and Kuchipatchi says that it gave him all kinds of things to eat. Mametchi is shocked that he accidentally installed extra features into his invention. As he marvels at his underestimated genius, Chamametchi, who watches behind Mametchi in his room, laughs happily now that her brother is cheered up.
