Manenetchi (まねーねっち Manēnetchi) is a female character who debuted in the Tamagotchi! anime. She also appears on the Tamagotchi iD L as a non-raisable character.
Name Origin[]
Manenetchi's name is based on the Japanese pronunciation of 'manager' (マネージャー Manējā), since she is Lovelin's manager.
Appearance[]
Manenetchi is similar to Telelin; she is a pink cellphone with a blue bow on the top left of her head and body. Like a sliding cellphone, she is able to slide the front half of her body up, revealing a keypad. Manenetchi mostly keeps herself closed, however. She also often carries an orange notebook.
Personality[]
Manenetchi is always there for Lovelitchi/Lovelin, being there for her when she needs her the most. They know everything about each other and treat each other just like sisters or best friends. Manenetchi tries her best to make sure Lovelin doesn't overwork herself, sometimes becoming annoyed with Lovelin's refusal to take a rest.
In the Anime[]
Tamagotchi![]
Manenetchi is Lovelin's agent at TAMAX-TV and keeps track of her schedule when working. She often accompanies Lovelin when she works and will try to adjust her schedule if Lovelitchi wants to do something else that day.
She first appears in "Tamagotchi School's Transfer Student" when she shows up at Tamagotchi School to pick up Lovelitchi so she can go to work. When Lovelitchi overworks herself to exhaustion in "Go-Go! TAMAX-TV Tour" Manentchi is deeply apologetic to Lovelitchi's parents for letting it happen. In "Listen! Lovelin's Confession", Manenetchi tries to moves Lovelitchi's schedule around so she can attends Mametchi's birthday party, but fails to make it work, apologizing to Lovelitchi for the inconvenience. In "Chocolate! Chocolate! Lovelin's Chocolate is Everywhere!", when Lovelitchi is overworking herself to make chocolate for her fans, Mananetchi tries to take over so Lovelitchi can rest and go to school. Lovelitchi insists that it has to be her that does it or it won't be the same which annoys Manenetchi.
When Telelin goes missing in "Lalulalu! Telelin is Lovelin? / Goodbye, Telelin", Mametchi creates a tracking device and uses Manenetchi as an amplifier in order to find Telelin's location.
Manenetchi starts managing Madonnatchi in "Lovelin Shock! Manenetchi's Change of Heart?" when her manager becomes sick. Lovelin misses her and becomes upset at the possibility of losing Manenetchi as her manager when she spots Madonnatchi and Manenetchi walking away from her concert. Lovelin later has to rescue Manenetchi when she tries to retrieve Lovelin's balloons and gets taken high up in the air. After the rescue, the two tearfully share how much they missed and cared for each other which causes a Tama Heart to appear.
