Prince Tamahiko (たまひこおうじ Tamahiko Ōji) is an adult male Tamagotchi character who debuted in Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 2. On virtual pets, he appears on the 15th Anniversary version of the Tamagotchi iD L.

Name Origin[]

Tama (たま) is likely from Tamagotchi. Hiko (ひこ) is a Japanese suffix for boys' names. In his Japanese name, ōji (おうじ) means "prince".

Appearance[]

Prince Tamahiko resembles a white prince with yellow hair and sparkly blue eyes. He has a small red crown on top of his head, and wears a blue prince outfit with a red cape. He is often seen riding a white horse with an orange mane and tail, light brown hooves, and a pink saddle and bridle.

In the anime, the horse is a toy bounce horse and has a spring on the bottom. When he rides this horse, he bounces along.

Personality[]

A handsome prince that travels through space, searching the stars for his perfect bride. He has a crush on Princess Tamako and asks her to marry him every time they meet. However, she always says "no".

Tamagotchi Connection Version 5 Celebrity[]

Prince Tamahiko evolves from any male teen with high bonding (80 - 100%) and artistic influence. If he is married to Rosetchi with maximum bonding, they will evolve into Gotchi King and Gotchi Queen and their Omututchi offspring will evolve into Princess Tamako and Princess Tamakoko, producing the Royal Family.

Tamagotchi iD L[]

He is a special character exclusive to the 15th Anniversary version of the Tamagotchi iD L. He evolves from any teen by connection to 30 or more times with the same friend.

Tamagotchi m!x[]

Prince Tamahiko is exclusive to the 20th Anniversary and Gift versions of the m!x. He is a NPC at Gotchi King's Castle that can be married.

In the Anime[]

Prince Tamahiko sometimes makes appearances in the Tamagotchi! anime.

He makes his first appearance in "No Boys Allowed! The Princess Day Party" where he tries to go inside the castle to meet Princess Tamako. He later crashes the party with the boys from Ms. Perfect's class and proposes to Princess Tamako who politely rejects him. He also makes a brief appearance in "Uranaitchi's Fortune Telling" where he passes by Tamagotchi School and says hello to Memetchi, making Uranaitchi's fortune of her meeting "Prince Charming" true.

Prince Tamahiko joins Mametchi and friends in a tennis match in "Narikiri Challenge! A Prince and Tennis". He teams up with Kuchipatchi to go against Moeraketchi and struggle to beat him.

In "Flustered! I've Lost My Memory!?", he tries to help Himespetchi after she briefly loses her memory from falling down stairs. In the process, Prince Tamahiko hits his head and loses his memory just as Himespetchi regains hers. He gains a crush on Himespetchi and tries to propose to her even when she turns him down multiple times. Himespetchi brings him to Gotchi King's Castle so he can remember his love for Princess Tamako and leave her alone. After an accident causes a ball to hit him in the head, Prince Tamahiko gets his memory back and proposes to Princess Tamako who prompty rejects him.

Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 2[]

Prince Tamahiko debuted in Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 2. He gets engaged to Princess Tamako after all of the shops are upgraded, but Princess Tamako cancels the engagement because she wants to open shops like Mametchi, Memetchi, and Kuchipatchi.
