|Genders and Releases:|
Pyonkotchi (ぴょんこっち Pyonkotchi) is a female adult-stage character that first appeared on the Mesutchi and Osutchi and later on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 3 and Tamagotchi Connection Version 4. Her male counterpart is Pyonchitchi.
Pyonkotchi is cute and funny, and is very responsible and great at playing games.
"Whenever she sees a boy and a girl in a loving couple, she gets jealous and just has to interfere! But she only acts mean because she's lonely. She'll surely become a kinder, gentler soul once she falls in love herself! "
- Japanese translation from Mesutchi and Osutchi HQ.
Pyonkotchi looks like a small yellow cat with pink ears and a stubby tail. In her newer artwork, she is a brighter yellow, her ears are a bit smaller, and she was given orange cheeks.
Pyonkotchi's name may come from the Japanese word "Pyonpyon", which means hopping or skipping. "Ko" is a suffix used in female names so her name can roughly translate into "hopping girl". This would likely be a reference to how she appears to jump about when moving.
Pyonkotchi evolves from Ojotchi or Hawaikotchi and is the healthiest adult any teen-stage character at TMP level 1 can become. A teen at TMP level 2 is unable to ungergo a TMP degenerating evolution to Pyonkotchi. Her base weight is 50 oz, and she sleeps from 10 PM to 9 AM.
Marrying her with Pyonchitchi or Bunbuntchi will produce Tsubutchi, while marrying with Kiwitchi or Megatchi will produce Teletchi. Marrying her with an adult from any other TMP group will produce Kuritchi.
Tamagotchi Connection Version 3
Pyonkotchi is one of the three healthiest adults you can get in an odd generation. Despite her feminine character Pyonkotchi can be either female or male on the Version 3. Her favorite food is bananas, but she dislikes cheese.
Tamagotchi Connection Version 4
Pyonkotchi is a female universal adult, who evolves from any one of the teen characters, although Ojyotchi and Hawaikotchi have a slightly higher chance of evolving into Pyonkotchi than other female teenagers, most likely because they are part of the Universal group. Pyonkotchi is effectively a trap; she appears if a teen character's skill points form a total of under 60, even if it was given very good care. She sleeps from 10 PM to 9 AM.
