Rexitchi is a senior Tamagotchi character introduced on the Tamagotchi Music Star / Connection V6. Rexitchi has not appeared as a raisable Tamagotchi character on any other Tamagotchi release since the Tamagotchi Music Star / Connection V6, making him exclusive to that release.

In late 2010, Rexitchi was reused as a guest character on the #111 Ponytchi Gotchi Figure for the TamaTown Tama-Go. When using the 'Refresh' item purchased at Ponytchi's Spa, your character may temporarily be transformed into Rexitchi.

It is believed that the character Rexitchi is based on famous music Elvis Presley. Rexitchi's name is derived from the Latin word rex, meaning "king"; a nickname that was used for Elvis. Rexitchi's appearance is of a former rock-star with dark black glasses and slick blond hair, also likening him to the appearance of Elvis.
