Sekitoritchi (せきとりっち) is an adult character that debuted on the Tamagotchi P2. He later appeared on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 3. He was present in the 15th Anniversary Character Poll as a male adult candidate.

Appearance

Sekitoritchi has a very human-like form, with a large balding head, chubby arms, and a wide torso. His bottom portion is a mawashi (sumo wrestling belt), with the dangling strings either acting as his legs or completely obscuring them.

Personality

This Tamagotchi is lean, mean, and is very good at fighting. He went into war when he was young, explaining why he acts stubborn and is rebellious.

Sekitoritchi is the secret character of the Japanese generation 2, version 1. He evolves from Zuccitchi with good care and discipline kept at 25% or lower.

Tamagotchi Connection Version 3

Sekitoritchi is a gender-neutral adult that can be obtained on even generations with severe neglect. Its base weight is 20 lb, and it sleeps from 10:15 PM to 10 AM. Its favorite food is BBQ, and it dislikes omelet.

Trivia

  • Sekitoritchi appeared briefly on Bandai America's page back in 1997, under the same "Sumotchi", despite never appearing on the US P2 toys. His profile read as follows: "The final figure -- what's this? A Sumo wrestler? Sumotchi doesn't eat nutritious food. He feasts on candy and vanilla pudding. Don't ask him about his legs! He will get quite upset."

Name Origin

The word せきとり is the Japanese term for a a sumo wrestler who is rank juryo or above. His unused English name comes from the word "Sumo".
