Sitter Poketchi (シッターぽけっち Shittā Poketchi) is a female Tamagotchi character who appears on the Tamagotchi 4U. She can look after the user's Tamagotchi if they are unable to care for it. However, she will only be active after the baby stage and until 17:00 (5 PM). She has also appeared in the GO-GO Tamagotchi! anime.

Appearance

Sitter Poketchi resembles a light yellow kangaroo. Her ears are pointy, and her tail is long and has a pink bow and a rattle at the end. She can use her tail to carry small Tamagotchis and rock them to sleep. She wears an orange apron with a pocket in the front and a mint green cap. She has light blue eyes and rosy cheeks. She hops instead of walking, and when she does her rattle will often shake and make sounds.

Personality

Sitter Poketchi is calm, patient, and tender-hearted. She is very good at looking after children, and she hardly ever gets stressed, even if children are crying or screaming. She will try to help children in need.

In the Anime

Sitter Poketchi first appears in part 2 of episode 25 of GO-GO Tamagotchi!, "Lovelin Becomes a Tama-Sitter". She works at the Tama Sitter House and looks after young tamagotchis. She helps train Lovelin to be a good caretaker.

Name Origin

Sitter Poketchi's name comes from the English word "sitter", from babysitter, and the Japanese word poketto (ポケット), which is a transliteration of the English word "pocket".
