The Strange Biology Institute (ふしぎ生物研究所 Fushigi Seibutsu Kenkyūjo) or Unidentified Mysterious Animal Research Lab, is the place where Professor Banzo studies Tamagotchi and where Mikachu works as a part time assistant. It is located in Taitō, Tokyo.
