Violetchi (ふらわっち Furawatchi "Flowertchi") is an adult character that debuted on the Keitai Kaitsuu Tamagotchi Plus, and has become a staple adult character for the franchise since. She became a shop partner on Tamagotchi Corner Shop 3.

Violetchi is very popular among other girls, and she is always skipping and singing. She loves all beautiful things, especially flowers. She is also close friends with Memetchi.
On the Keitai, Tamagotchi Connection Version 2, and Tamagotchi Connection Version 3, Violetchi may have any gender, but had been permanently female since the release of the Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus.
In Tamagotchi Connection Version 5, she has her very own family, like her brother Kizatchi.
[edit] Name Controversy
Although Violetchi's Japanese name literally translates into "Flowertchi", her name outside Japan has changed several times. This is due to a character Bandai introduced on the V2, named Flowertchi.
A press kit sent to Tamatalk.com revealed that on the V2, her name had been changed to "Korotchi", and no artwork of her character was provided. Another press kit sent for the V3 revealed that she was recolored green, had her green flower changed to blue, and was named "Leaftchi". Despite this, "Leaftchi" appeared as the Keitai's "Flowertchi" when visiting Tamatown.
On the V4, "Flowertchi" had her color darkened to a violet color, and was renamed "Violetchi". This name change has stuck; all merchandise and images of her have the same dark color and are all named "Violetchi".
[edit] Portrayal in Anime
Violetchi is a minor character in Tamagotchi: The Movie and Let's Go! Tamagotchi. Despite the naming difficulty associated with her, the dub officially uses her original name Flowertchi. In the dub, she is portrayed by Veronica Taylor, who previously lent a similar voice to May from Pokemon.
The seventh episode of the series, Do You Remember, Flowertchi?, describes that Flowertchi had once been very anti-social, caring more about tending the school's flowers than making any friends. However, an incident with Memetchi sparked a strong friendship between the two, and Flowertchi eventually became popular with her classmates.
Flowertchi also made an appearance in "Helping at McDonald's", where she worked alongside Mametchi, Memetchi, and Kuchipatchi to assist Makdotchi. She also appears in "Mametchi's Picture Diary" and "Hapihapitchi is Popular?!".

UraVioletchi is a temptress with a sweet smell. The golden dust from her wings is able to attract boys. She loves honey.

UraYoungVioletchi (ウラやんぐふらわっち UraYanguFurawatchi "UraYoungFlowertchi") is the "young" counterpart to UraVioletchi. She appears as a younger form of UraVioletchi, with smaller wings and flower buds, and no antennae.
UraYoungVioletchi is pure and innocent. She makes a wish on the stars each night that her flowers will blossom soon. She adores UraVioletchi.

MamaVioletchi is Violetchi's mother from the Violet family. She is crazy in love with her sweet-talking husband PapaKizatchi.
