Not to be confused with Watawatatchi, a different Tamagotchi with a similar name. Watatchi (わたっち Watatchi) is a female adult Tamagotchi character that debuted on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5.
Name Origin[]
Watatchi's name comes from the Japanese word wata (わた), which means cotton.
Appearance[]
Watatchi looks like a ball of cotton, which is also where she gets her name. She has pink cheeks, eyelashes, and wears an orange dress and a yellow bow on her head.
Personality[]
She is so light, she has to be careful to not be blown away by the wind. Her cough is unique and it sounds like she is saying 'cotton, cotton'. She can take on different colors to match her boyfriend.

Watatchi is one of the three female adult Tamagotchis in the Cheerful Family. Watatchi evolves from Ichigotchi with low bonding (0%-30%), but can also evolve from Chamametchi or Shelltchi also with low bonding if it is trained to have high points in the cheerful group (more than the smart and easy-going group). If Watatchi marries, she will turn into a MemeMamatchi. If Watatchi uses the Dresser item, she will turn into Makiko.
